The story behind Guitar Citadel ↓
From Seth
A lifetime
around guitars.
Guitar making is part of my heritage. Growing up around the craft through my stepfather, renowned luthier Andy Manson, and his brother Hugh Manson, I’ve spent much of my life immersed in the world of guitars. I went on to manage Mansons Guitar Shop for over a decade and work closely with legendary artists including Led Zeppelin and Muse. I’ve also built instruments under my own name for more than twenty years. Over the past three decades, I’ve experienced the guitar world from almost every angle.
That experience taught me that our instruments are more than the sum of their parts. They carry stories and memories, along with the skill of their makers and the care of their owners. But much of that history can be lost as the years pass and instruments change hands.
I created Guitar Citadel because I believe those stories deserve to be preserved.
